問題詳情

Narcissus was a very beautiful young man.
A lot of girls fell in love with him at first sight.
But Narcissus had no interest in any of them.
      He showed them disdain
      And walked away proudly.
Narcissus broke many young girls’ hearts,
      But he did not care.
Being proud, He loved only himself.
Nemesis, a goddess, was angry with Narcissus,
And decided to punish him for his behavior.
She led him to a river.
When he saw his reflection in the water,
He fell in love with it right away.
      However,
      Sadly,
His reflection could not love him back.
      For many days,
Poor Narcissus sat by the water,
 Looking at his reflection.
He did not eat, drink, or sleep.
      Day by day,
 He grew thinner and weaker.
One day he died beside the river.
      Then and there,
Lovely flower grew –
      The narcissus. (翰林)6077cdd93cbe9.jpg6077cde044df6.jpg
