問題詳情

(F)A probe is a spacecraft that travels through space to collect science information without astronauts. Probes send data back to Earth for scientists to study. Sputnik 1 was the first probe to go into space. It was launched in 1957. The next year, the second probe, Explorer 1, was sent into space. These two probes studied Earth from space. They also learned what it is like to be in space. Once probes could reach space, they started to be sent to fly past the moon and other planets. Mariner 2 was the first probe to study another planet. In 1962, Mariner 2 flew past Venus and found out that Venus is very hot. A different probe, called Mariner 4, was the first probe to take a picture of a planet. In 1971, Mariner 9 arrived at Mars and became the first probe to circle another planet. Mariner 9 took a picture of Mars that showed a large volcano. Probes started to travel far in late 1970s. Voyager 1, launched in 1977, has traveled further in space than any others. In 1980, Voyager 1 flew past Jupiter and Saturn and then began its trip out of our solar system. On the other hand, Voyager 2, which was launched in 1979, also travelled out of the solar system in 1989 after watching Uranus and Neptune.spacecraft 太空飛行器 data資料  launch發射  volcano火山  solar system太陽系
