問題詳情

A great deal of media content today has been devoted to the discussion of a healthy, proper diet. People around the world spend billions of dollars on foods that are supposed to make us both healthy and happy, yet many people continue to be sick and depressed. What is wrong with this picture?     The answer is simple—food alone does not guarantee a life free from mental and physical problems. No matter how healthy your diet may be, you can still be unhealthy. What is really needed is rest, relaxation, exercise, and a positive mind state. Exercise helps the body function properly. It makes the blood flow quicker and more smoothly, helps our respiratory system, and improves our digestive system. A life of eating healthy food from a couch is not a good one. In order to efficiently process our food, we have to rest or sleep enough, too. When sleeping, our body repairs itself. It also utilizes the food we eat efficiently. Getting enough rest and relaxation balances the exercise we do.    Finally, we need to think positively. A healthy body is useless if we are always worried and depressed. In addition to a good diet, we should get enough sleep, exercise and think happy thoughts. We must balance them all to get the most out of life.
