問題詳情

There are many cultures in the world that include insects in their diet, but most people in the world consider eating insects to be absolutely disgusting and quite disturbing as well. If you went to a restaurant and were served bugs, you would probably leave the place at once and refuse to be charged for the food. Scientists say, however, that eating bugs is actually very healthy for you, and that there are already insects in a lot of our processed foods.   Did you ever think about what those little black dots in your bread are? The best quality wheat that is used to make bread is still 1% bugs. 10% of the coffee beans you use are actually insects, and every 100 grams of ketchup has about 10 fruit flies in it. They simply can't keep all of the bugs out when they turn tomatoes into ketchup; it would be way too expensive, and actually is probably impossible.  You don't have to be worried about having bugs in your food because, strangely enough, the bugs in our foods are oftentimes healthier than the food we are eating. The lesson here is not to look down on people that eat bugs. After all, in a way, you're feeding on insects too!
