IV. Reading Comprehension: (10%) A. How many of us have dreamed that we can eat all the chocolate we wantwithout worrying about our health? Well, we’re one step closer. According to manyrespected researchers, instead of being a guilty pleasure, eating dark chocolate can bebeneficial to our health.     Flavonoids are the magic ingredients that make dark chocolate wholesome.Dry, bitter cocoa powder, from which chocolate is made, is rich in flavonoids. Darkchocolate retains much of its cocoa content throughout its production process. Milkchocolate, on the other hand, is lower in cocoa, and white chocolate has none. This iswhy only dark chocolate is considered to have health benefits. The flavonoids in darkchocolate induce biological processes that not only lower our blood pressure andcholesterol but also prevent cancer.       Don’t take this information as a license to go overboard, though. Dark   chocolate is high in fat. Even in light of its health benefits, experts still suggest thatwe only consume about 100 grams a day. However, with doctors warning us not to eatmany of our favorite foods, it’s good to know that we can still have a little chocolateto sweeten our day.
