In fact, statistics show the use of this word has increased by as much as 17,000 percent this past year.
        With its great popularity, “selfie” looks like it is here to stay. Other 45 for the Oxford Dictionaries’ 2013 Word of the Year included “showrooming,” which means looking at a product in a shop and then buying it online, and “bitcoin,” which is the name of a new digital currency.
