If we stay up late, or get poor quality sleep, then we’re usually slower the next day. But did you know that the way in which you sleep might affect the quality of your sleep? Staying up late is bad, especially if you look at blue light coming from a computer or smartphone screen. But sleeping on your stomach has an impact on your sleep, too. In a study, researchers found that sleeping on your belly makes the sleeper have strange dreams. The subjects in this study reported having odd dreams while sleeping on their stomachs. Dreams included walking around in public while naked, having famous boyfriends or girlfriends, and some even said they saw UFOs.      Not only did people who slept on their stomachs report strange dreams, but many said the dreams were odd enough to cause them to wake up. Waking up in the middle of the night is no fun, because sometimes it takes hours to fall back to sleep. If you sleep on your stomach and frequently have crazy dreams, then maybe you should try sleeping on your back, or your side. This way, you can avoid having a rough night.
