This December, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, which will be played by real people, is Disney’s new try on this timeless classic.The film’s main character is Clara, a smart 14-year-old girl played by Mackenzie Foy. The story is about Clara and her brothers who are spending their first Christmas without their mother, Marie. Marie gave Clara a strange egg-shaped music box with a note that says, “Everything you need is inside,” but it is locked.Clara decides to unlock the secrets of the box, and she finds the key. She enters an amazing world. She meets some of the characters from the original Nutcracker story, like the Sugar Plum Fairy. She also learns there are four realms in this new world, and one is an evil queen called Mother Ginger. Clara must defeat her to save the world.There are other famous actors and actresses in the movie. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms will possibly be a favorite of the Christmas season.
