counted from one to thirty and said to her mom, “ Do
you know a child in Africa died just now?” after she
learned the news that in Africa, every 30 seconds one
child died of    malaria    because of not having enough
money to buy a mosquito net. A few weeks later, she
sent her money which she saved from her pocket money,
snacks and even her lunch to Nothing But Nets , which
buys mosquito nets for children in Africa to keep them
away from being bitten by mosquitos.
      After that, she keeps raising money by selling her
old toys, books and hand-made things. And she also
shares her thoughts about helping others through social
network and many people join her and become a team.
Once she even wrote to Bill Gates, one of the richest
men in the US to ask him to donate money for the nets.
Since then, Katherine Commale has kept raising money
to donate mosquito nets for the children in Africa and
also to help those who are in need.
