(三)                                   Race Across Taiwan

I couldn’t believe it when I heard that my best friend, Patty, had won the Race Across Taiwan. Race Across Taiwan is not only the longest bicycle race but also the most difficult one in Taiwan. Last Friday, thousands of racers from different foreign countires gathered together at the start line in Taipei. I saw Patty there, but before I could talk to her, she had already left. The only thing that could be seen was her red bicycle — it was neither modern nor expensive. Three days later, Patty and the other racers finally got back to Taipei again. She told me that she rode as fast as she could and reached the finish line before anybody else. How amazing! I was so happy for her.
