What’s more, many people have dreamed of having Pokemons in their real life, but it was impossible until 2016. Finally, with a popular app called Pokemon Go, people are now one step closer to their dream.

Within two days of its release, Pokemon Go became the biggest moneymaker at the time. It reached more than 10 million downloads within its first week and over 500 million worldwide after just two months. The app helped local businesses grow and made people go out more often because of its location-based technology. It may sound like a perfect game, but this global phenomenon is not without any negative(負面) reviews(評價).

Many people were too focused on the game and didn’t pay attention to where they were or where they were going, which caused lots of traffic accidents. Some governments(政府) started to warn the public(大眾) with messages like “Not to Play Pokemon Go While Driving.” In addition(此外), the app’s location-based technology caused several accidents by leading players to dangerous places before they even had a chance to catch any Pokemons.

Is Pokemon Go a dream come true or a nightmare(夢魘)? One thing we can be sure of is that it is an app like no other, but it is not necessarily the very best since the hype(狂潮) has already died down.
