III. English 4U Reading Comprehension 5%     Thehuman race and planet Earth are facing a lot of challenges thesedays. Luckily, a global movement is already under way to fight theseproblems. This movement is what author Paul Hawken talks about in hisbook, Blessed Unrest. It is actually made up of many differentgroups which appear to have different goals. The key is that theyagree on basic things, such as saving the environment and sharingresources equally.     Hawken’sbook also gives us examples of individuals who have made a differencein the world. He talks about an Indian widow who battled soft drinkgiant Coca-Cola, which was polluting her village’s drinking water,and won. Hawken also gives a list of grassroots organizations andwhat they focus on. He hopes people will be inspired to jointhese groups and work towards saving the planet one small step at atime.
