問題詳情

四、閱讀測驗In 1997, Mitch Albom wrote a bestselling book Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson. The author spent fourteen Tuesdays with his dying former teacher and mentor Morrie Schwartz and learned about the meaning of life. During their Tuesday visits, Mitch and Morrie discussed the world, feelingsorry for yourself, regrets, death, family, emotions, fear of aging, money, how love goes on, marriage, our culture, forgiveness, the perfect day, and saying goodbye. Over the weeks Mitch learned many things from Morrie while discussing these topics, but in the end perhaps the greatest thing he learned from him is that "there is no such thing as 'too late' in life." A person should be changing every day and taking full advantage of the time he/she has here on earth. Morrie was changing until the day he died. You never know when your time may be done. You may not get the chance to say goodbye like Mitch and Morrie did. You may think it is too late to do or say the things you always wanted to but never got around to actually doing, but it is important to seize every opportunity and live life to the fullest. Time is a very precious thing that goes by fast. So don't give up and think that your time to do something you've always wanted to do is past: "there is no such thing as 'too late' in life" as long as you take advantage of whatever time you have left.
