(34~36) Stephen Hawking was born in England in 1942. Besides mathand science, he enjoyed being in the school's boat club and musicclub. However, after he went to Cambridge to study, he began tohave health problems. He could not speak or walk like commonpeople and he often dropped things or fell without knowing why.After going through lots of tests, doctors found that Hawking hadALS, and they said he only had a few years to live.     Because of ALS, Hawking was depressed at first, but he liveda full and meaningful life with the help of science and modernmedicine.
