問題詳情

B People greet each other when they meet. However, there are different ways to greet in different cultures. Here are some examples. In Taiwan, people usually shake hands. In the US, just as what we see in the movies, people kiss each other on their cheeks. People in Japan greet each other with a bow. In Thailand, people put their palms together and nod their heads to say hello. If you are in Malaysia, a Malay will touch your fingertips and bring your hands to his/her heart to show that he/she greets you from the bottom of his/her heart. Guess what? In Tibet , the monks put their tongues out and place their hands in front of their chests to show that they “come in peace.” It’s interesting, isn’t it? It’s important to be polite. So, when you travel to a foreign country, don’t forget to learn how to say hello in their culture. palm手掌 Malay馬來人 monk僧侶tongue舌頭 chest胸膛 cheek臉頰
