A person who suffers from this eating disordermight feel guilt and shame and have above-normal body weight.     There is help for these disorders. Help from a physician is essential to deal with thephysical consequences of these disorders. Psychological therapy is also important tounderstand what is behind the disorder. Finally, it must be a priority to engage innutritional counseling to promote healthy eating behaviors. Very often, though, thosesuffering from eating disorders deny there is any problem. Therefore, if you believesomeone does have an eating disorder, encourage him or her to get help. If that doesn'twork, get a trusted adult involved.
