閱讀測驗 46-50Though many places in the world seem to enjoy peacefulprosperity, there are unfortunately still human rights violations thatoccur on a daily basis. While it’s impossible to prosecute everyincident, there is an organization dedicated to making theinternational public more aware of such injustices in the hope ofstopping future offenses. Amnesty International was established tohelp the thousands of people worldwide who are incarcerated, tortured, terrorized or brutalized because of their political beliefs.
