問題詳情

二、題組  Thanks to Lucy’s Law, pet shops in the UK can only sell puppies and kittens over the age of six months. This new law was born in 2018 to protect young animals and stop kitten and puppy farming. Around 95% of the public have agreed on the law since they learned about the poor dog whose name wasLucy. In 2013, when she was five years old, she was saved from a puppy farm where she had been kept in asmall cage much of her life. Her body was broken. This kind of farms terribly treated animals and did notprovide enough care for them. What Lucy went through on the puppy farm caused her many health problems. Lucy went on to be adopted and enjoy a full, but short life in a loving home before she died in 2016.However, her story helped to change the law, and this will save more dogs in the future. ※ kitten 小貓
