B. Halloween falls on October 31st, the last day of the Celtic calendar. It was originally apagan holiday, honoring the dead. Halloween was also referred to as All Hallows Eve and datesback over 2000 years ago. Since not allspirits were thought to be friendly, gifts and treats were left out to ease the evil and ensure thatthe next year's crops would be plentiful.
