問題詳情

43~44 Make some noise! One New Year’s custom in the Philippines is to use noisemakers, play music, and be as loud as you can. People believe the noise will keep away any bad luck and evil monsters. Also, wearing clothes with circular designs is considered good luck. This is because the circle is a symbol of good fortune and money. Time to break out your polka-dotted clothes! Before the clock strikes midnight, all doors must be left wide open to allow good luck to enter. However, on the first day of the new year, you are not supposed to do any cleaning. No cleaning on New Year’s Day itself!
