Everyone knows Christmas is on December 25. Some people call it “White Christmas” becausesnowing during Christmas is very common in many places in winter. But in some places, the weatheris very hot in December, and people need hats to resist the strong sunlight. This is because theweather is much different in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Last Christmas, Rebecca went to New Zealand to visit her aunt and uncle. On Christmas Eve, shecalled her mom to say “Merry Christmas” to her. Her mom told her the weather was very cold in theUSA, and it’s snowing outside. It was a beautiful, white Christmas in her hometown. But it was hot inNew Zealand that she wore only a T-shirt and shorts in December. That was the first time for her toenjoy Christmas in summer.
