問題詳情

(E)David Copperfield, born on September 16, 1956, as David Seth Kotkin, is an excellent American illusionist, or as people usually say a so-called magician. He is famous for his illusions and has made a lot of money. According to Forbes, he has made over 1.5 $ billion by 2012.David was interested in magic and performance from a young age when his grandfather first taught him a card trick. His first show was in his hometown when he was just 12 years old. His skills as a magician grew quickly and at age 16, he was already chosen to teach a course in magic at New York University. Shy and quiet as he was, the young David found a way to get in touch with people, and later, to get close to girls by creating illusions and performing magic tricks. One of his most famous illusions was on television on April 8, 1983. With the help of Jim Steinmeyer and Don Wayne, Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty vanish in front of all the people. To let everyone believe that it was really gone, he used lights to show there was nothing where the Statue of Liberty used to be. This show is perfect, isn’t it? How wonderful! His magic shows are so amazing that people- kids, as well as grown-ups- are all crazy about him.  billion 十億 performance 表演 skills 技巧 course 課程 create 創造 illusion幻覺假象
