問題詳情

V. Reading Comprehension (10%, 每題2分)  63.~ 64.為題組     Contrary to what you may read on the Internet, the world is not going to end in 2012. It is all invented story, though the makers of the film "2012" may lead you to think another way.    Scientific misinformation about “2012” has been around for a few years, with more than 200 books and 1,000 Web sites explaining various doomsday scenarios. In order to increase its publicity, Sony Pictures has set up interlinked Web sites to fill a sense of reality to its imaginary work. There is also a fake association that spread "real" science supporting the movie's claims.    Dr. Brad from NASA suggested that the type of marketing promotion for "2012" is nothing new. It has been done before. The advertising of “2012” has stirred up the fear of some people. There are people really scared out there. “People are very gullible and very easy to fool and it is kind of sad that they need NASA to tell them the world is not going to end,” he added.    So when you enjoy this movie in a cinema, just sit back and relax! What may seem so true and devastating is actually fictional!
