It was the most powerful typhoon to hit Japanduring the past 25 years. Kansai International(國際) Airport was badly damaged(損壞) by the typhoon. It forced(強迫)the airport to be shut down(關閉) because of the floods(洪水) and hundreds of flights to be cancelled(取消). Besides, atanker (油船) crashed(撞毀) into and damaged the bridge which connects the airport and the mainland(本土). Jebi was asuper typhoon.
